The 37 postures of the Yang Family Cheng man-ch’ing Short Form are the focus of the sessions. We study the form by contemplating lessons from Ben Lo’s works T’ai Chi Ch’uan Ta Wen Questions and Answers,The Essence of T”ai Chi Ch’uan The Literary Tradition, and Cheng Tzu’s Thirteen Treatises on T’ai Chi Ch’uan along with thoughts and imagery from My Words Are Very Easy To Understand by Tam Gibbs, Confucianist and Taoist texts, archival videos, magazine articles, and other printed materials gathered over years of practice including Full Circle by Bataan Faiga, the Shr Jung Newsletter, and notes from online Cheng man-ch’ing discussion threads.
Classes are free.

Fuzzy “prerequisite” is knowing at least the sequence of most of the Cheng man-ch’ing Short Form. There are some long-time students attending these sessions and we focus more on the internal work than the mechanics, appearance, fundamentals, etc.
Hope you’ll consider joining us — we’re a great group of serious students.
